ONE QUESTION

Kratos' Cruxis Crystal is kind of important. It grants him the ability to bring his wings out, use angel magic, stop his aging, and all that other stuff. It also contains his soul. Can I have it deactivated in a way where he's basically human but not suddenly keeling over dead? :D

Absolutely! Nautilus doesn't want to kill anyone just by pulling them to the city. ;)

His Crystal would be deactivated in a way that it still maintains his life, but doesn't grant him any extraordinary powers. So, his soul would still be there, but he wouldn't be able to use his angel magic. That sort of deal.

(If that doesn't make sense, I do apologize. I'm not at all familiar with the canon.)

It does make sense. If you know Madoka at all, it's sort of a similar concept to a Soul Gem, except with multiple souls in there instead of just one. Exspheres are sapient stones attached to miserable human cattle, whose life force is then absorbed into it, and then the resulting stone gives people superhuman powers. A Cruxis Crystal is just an ascended form of that.
