Character History: You have two options for the history requirement:
1) Write the full history of your character out (especially if your canon is obscure).
or
2) Link to a detailed wikia page for your character and provide your own bullet point summary of your character’s history.

Character Personality: Please be as detailed as possible so that we have a good picture of the character. What makes this character tick? What are their strengths and weaknesses? Minimum three paragraphs.

Powers and Abilities: 'nuff said.

Network: Your network sample entry should be made as if your character were posting to a public network, such as Dreamwidth. It does not have to be their first post (ie, "OMG WHERE AM I?!"), but it does have to show that the character is perfectly aware of the fact that this is something that other people are likely to see. Please avoid excessive use of descriptions in [action tags] here, as one would get in video posts - we're looking for your character's voice, the one they use for talking to others. Save the internal monologues for the third person sample.

If you use TDM for your network sample it needs to meet the following requirements:
* Taken from the Test Drive Meme for The Wake and not any other game
* Contains at least 12 comments from the character being applied for
* Contains enough material for us to see how the character is like
* Has to reflect their first person voice

Third Person: 300 word minimum. This is the place to show your character's inner thoughts within the setting. Give us a nice third person narrative of your character doing something, plus how they feel about it. This doesn't have to be blatant "this is what my character is thinking, designated by italics!" but should rather show your character's self via their actions and interactions with their environment.

Original Character Applications - we ask that you be AS DETAILED AS POSSIBLE.

Hello, and thank you for your interest in The Wake! Before we consider your application for approval, we'll need a minor revision.

Your network sample is a bit on the short side and we would like a little more meat to it. Like why is he excited, what are his thoughts? Is it cool because he's discovered it on his own? The possibilities it has for him? Is there something amazing inside? Is it pretty?, etc.

[It takes Meallan a couple of days to get settled before he even tries talking to people on the strange magic book. Not that he hasn't opened it up a few times and taken a look at the pages that show moving images, like windows into other places, and can play people's voices but the idea that it could somehow do that to him too is… unsettling. He's dabbled with stranger magics though, and everyone he's spoken to has assured him that this 'network' is harmless, more or less. So eventually he decides to try it for himself.

When the video starts it's therefore of… a very close elven face. Very close. It's about three-quarters curious golden eyes and tattooed face, followed by a finger poking at the image.]

How can you tell that it's worki--

[And the feed cuts out for a moment, then starts up again.]

Hello? People of Nautilus, I am… No, that's not good.

[There's more poking at the feed, but this time it remains on.]

You'd think I'd be better at this after all this time. Alright. Simple then.

[He clears his throat and settles back more formally.]
